RISK GUIDE LEGEND

To assist you in selecting a first aid kit suitable for your workplace, we have
designed a risk guide legend to help you identify the kit suited to your level of
workplace risk.

Low risk workplace is a workplace where workers are not exposed to hazards that could result in serious injury or illness that would require immediate medical treatment, and is located with timely access to medical or ambulance services.

High risk workplace is a workplace where workers may be exposed to
hazards that could result in serious injury or illness and would require immediate medical treatment, such as those associated with plant, hazardous chemicals, confined spaces and hazardous manual tasks. High risk workplaces include manufacturing plants, construction sites, kitchens, motor vehicle and body panel workshops, medical research facilities and forestry operations.
